The events facilitated through the CFAR include convening the weekly Virology Discussion Group, CFAR monthly seminars, visiting professorships, and the new Interdisciplinary Research Groups (IRGs). The IRGs promote collaborations by bringing bench scientists and clinicians together for the development new approaches to AIDS/HIV research.
